To ask how often you have sex?

What the title says really, how often do you & your husband have sex? Also how old are you and how long have you been together?

Me 31 him 37
Been together 3 years
Once every few months due to his choice not mine, I would prefer 3 times a week. Infertility, ivf and his low sex drive have pretty much ruined it

Me 47 him. 67

Used to be 4 or so times a week . 4 or so times a night when we met

Not for about 5 years now due to ED and my disability and the other pressures of life

It varies quite a bit and sometimes it can be once in 2 weeks, as dh works away on occasion. It is usually 3 times a week.

We are late 40's and been together for 26 years married for 22.
Sex has always been an important part of our relationship so both have prioritised it.

Me: 45, Him: 50

Been together 25 years, 5 DC

He works away Monday - Thursday each week, sometimes is away for a whole week. We usually manage once or twice in the days he's here (Thurs evening - Sunday night).
Its a shame, because when I got into my mid-late thirties I had a 'new wind' libido-wise, and it was so much more frequent than when I was in my 20's... work slowing us down now.
Also hope impending menopause won't spoil things!

Me 29/ Dh 41 or 42 (I forget) been together 12 and a half years. It all depends on mood, some weeks we are like rabbits other times we are lazy. I have the higher sex drive, so can be frustrating.

Both early 30s, together 10 years, 1 almost 2 year old DS. We have sex 1-4 times per week. Have never gone longer than 2 weeks (not counting the 8 weeks post-partum as I'd rather have sealed up my vagina with cement than done it then, and earlier this year when we split for a few months).

DP is convinced that we have sex way less often than everyone else, so I made him ask his mates. We don't! Not by a very long way.

I would like to have sex more, but my sex drive just isn't there most of the time. Around a few times a month, I would prefer a few times a week. We are 27/28. We have been together 13 years, married for 6.

Not nearly enough in my opinion....once a week if I'm lucky. DH not that up for it.i feel like a man!

I'm 24 and dp is 25, been together 5 years with 2 dc.

Varies but once maybe twice a week. I'm always completely drained. Dp would do it alot more given the chance.

Oh God... almost never. 26 & 29. Neither of us particularly bovved tbh.

ATM it's every day, sometimes twice and if i can 3 times daily, but im 39 weeks pregnant and i'm trying to get this baby out!

Both 30s, but with young baby and had difficult recover from the birth (had corrective surgery and still not quite right) so only once a week, sometimes twice.

Used to be 3 times a week, and I miss those carefree days.

It's been once in about 8 months now but there's been pregnancy, a csection and a vasectomy in between not to mention the 5 month old baby that doesn't sleep! That once was pure chance.

Oh and we're 35 &40 married for 4 yrs together for 6.

both 20s but varied, depending on how tired/stressed we are with work. maybe 3 days a week but once or twice in them days? really does vary. this week it was ednesday, friday, saturday, sunday, each being twice/three times.
we're bored.

We're 21, been together for over one year. Every day (sometimes twice) if we can.

I appreciate this is because we are young, in the honeymoon period and childless

Been married 4 years and have a 2 year old. We haven't had sex in about 8 months and I actually had to really think back to when we did?!? He has a very high sex drive and mine pretty low. But I do feel guilty as I don't mind sex and he really bloody loves it. So might have to give him a cheeky one this week! He will thank mumsnet I'm sure. Small child is FINALLY sleeping the night in her own bed and that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe 3 times a month. I'd prefer more, but he's knackered and stressed with work. He works damn hard so I don't complain. We're 32 & 50, been together 9 years. Used to be 4/5 times a week pre kids when we had more time for each other and work was less intrusive.

Married 2 yrs. have probably only had sex 10-20 times in that time. Ds1 is 2.3yrs old and ds2 13wks.

We are well matched in that we both hate doing it in the evening/at night and we also dislike spontaneity. Even before DC we alway arranged and planned when we would do it, at what time and what we would do. So now we have dc we hardly do it because we can't plan and the only time we really get is the evening when we are knackered and a quickie would be the only option. So we'd rather not bother. We are going to plan one afternoon a month when the DC can go to GPS in the new year I think.
