To a basic Nokia.

I currently have an iPhone 4s and the battery needs charging twice a day. I only use it for phone calls and texts and marrying it up to the car bluetooth. Beginning to get peed off with it. I can get a Nokia for £40.

I'm sure anbasic Nokia costs less than that.
How are we expected to know whether you are bu though?

erm.... you need approval from MN before placing your (non-fully-working) phone with another (fully working phone)...?

If you've got a 4S then the likelihood is that the battery needs replacing.

However, all you want is a basic phone then get one. What I would say is that you can do a lot to extend battery life on an iPhone. Starting by keeping the bluetooth off until you need to pair it with the car. Also, making sure you close all apps down properly helps as does not having a million and one unnecessary apps on it in the first place.

I charge my 5S up once a day, absolute tops. And use the bluetooth in the car. So I reckon it is your battery that's failing.

YANBU to do whatever you like regarding your phone. What a strange question...
