To think this car sticker was daft

Saw a car sticker this morning saying 'Slow Down. Lauren on Board'.

AIBU to think it was a bit daft and Baby on Board or Child on Board would have done, if driver really wanted a sticker?

Do you have those family stick figure families on the back of cars in the UK? They are EVERYWHERE here. My personal favourite was when one Mum and Dad obviously got divorced and the Dad kept the car. He had crossed out the Mum and written, "Now lives with Jim. The bitch". Grin

I think that's so that you feel a connection to the child on board and so go more carefully? It's not just a baby, it's Lauren!

I saw my first fairy dust powered car the other day. My first thought was MN. Smile

SistersOfPercy · 03/12/2014 22:43

There is a fairy dust one round here complete with pink butterfly graphics, pink steering wheel and the obligatory eyelashes. Yes,I judge.
The only thing worse than powered by fairy dust is powered by bitch dust.

I often want to ask the drivers what mpg they get from fairy dust but thus far I've bitten my tongue.

LuisSuarezTeeth · 03/12/2014 22:47

Fairy dust is 125/pg

Stop biting your tongue, it's a dreadful habit.

Argghhh. They make me mad. Because if you didn't tell me there was a baby on board I would drive into you?

Inboxer · 04/12/2014 02:18

I think these stickers should read "warning - sleep deprived and distracted parent on board!"

HappenstanceMarmite · 04/12/2014 08:42

Also "babe on board"' as in "I think I am extremely hot". Nearly always not the case... Grin

SistersOfPercy · 04/12/2014 08:59

Luis, that still doesn't tell me how many mpg you get from fairy dust Wink

Fallingovercliffs · 04/12/2014 10:12

I saw one once with 'Yummy Mummy on Board'. Cringe.

I had a BOB triangle given to me when expecting. When I found it was twins I scratched on the words 'x2 - bloody twins!' with a marker pen because it made me laugh.
