I just want to say I love her? She was reasonable, considered, insightful and compassionate.( and feminist ) Just such a breath of fresh air compared to all the insincere politicians spouting bollocks ( and the Daily Mail Journo ). I wish our country could be governed by sensible people like her. So sick of politicians that just talk bollocks. Why does it have to be this way..?

I thought she looked great last night, loved her hair. Not found her the funniest comedian but have always liked her. You just warm to her.

Jo and Sandi are national treasures.

She has a lovely warm, soft voice. And she's gone a bit establishment but in a nice way, like appearing on the Chelsea Flower Show. She ought to read the story on Bedtime Hour.

Hatespiders · 28/11/2014 09:32

I love her books 'Can't Stand Up For Sitting Down' and 'Look Back In Hunger'
I'm so pleased other people absolutely adore her, because I think she's one of the nicest and most interesting people on TV. She's so calm and stable. And her feminism is effective without being too strident.
Does anyone else think she looks very like John Sergeant? They could be brother and sister!
Delighted to see her in Gareth Malone's CIN choir. Also in HAGNFY.

I've met her a few times. I know people who know her well. She's lovely.

She seems very grounded to me and I think her warmth and humour have improved with age. I saw her first though Grin - compering a fund-raising show at (or was it near?) the psychiatric hospital where she worked as a nurse.

I love Jo Brand, I saw her several times before she was mega famous and she is so warm and funny, and obviously extremely intelligent. Love love her. She should be on everything on the telly, is not on nearly enough.

YANBU.

Never noticed she was on it - but then I was in a state of shock after hearing Michael Gove call David Cameron "the greatest politician of the age". DW had to give me a glass of brandy.
