SistersOfPercy · 27/11/2014 19:25

Oh, and here is her design for cereal themed clutch bags which inspired the packaging.

its about time, my girls were starving

ErrolTheDragon · 27/11/2014 19:30

But surely a girl who's into 'fashion' won't want to eat sugary cereal?Confused

MehsMum · 27/11/2014 19:41

Isn't this on a par with the infamous Bic 'lady pens'?

TalcAndTurnips · 27/11/2014 19:51

Excellent.

I would also be interested in purchasing:

Coco Chanel Pops

Gok Wantobix

Jimmy Cheerichoos

Michael Korns Flakes

tumbleweed

I have festive Frosties, with a nice snowy Tony pic and 'Twas the night before Christmas' in full on the side panel. Did not spot any fashion ones?

Sprink · 27/11/2014 19:55

talcnturnips is a marketing genius

SistersofPercy I appreciate the link, I had seen it. Explains the what (Anya Hindmarch will design new Frosties packaging) but not the WHY.

WHY?!

In no point during my day do I make the sugary breakfast/designer handbag connection.

Even wondered if a charity was involved; seems not.

I. Just. Don't. Get. It.

I think they are nice bright and jazzy. A bit if a change for old kelloggs and their boring focus on advertising Special K relentlessly.

As for the why - I can only imagine the scene at their hq where a new member of the team had been hired to freshen up their ideas and cones up with this zany plan to shake up the cereal aisle. Cut to the nightshift in the factory rolling their eyes as the new Tony the Tiger starts rolling off the production line....

Watch our Andrex puppy. Maybe they'll be re-inventing you next!

ErrolTheDragon · 27/11/2014 20:20

Well, the Andrex puppy was always miscast. 'Soft, strong and very very long', clearly should be a dachshund!

addictedtobass · 27/11/2014 20:41

Tiger looks weird. Don't get why they've changed the name. Have they raised the price or lowered to compensate for packaging?

addictedtobass · 27/11/2014 20:47

Oh wait i see they are going to be 'fashion accessories' for a while and will cost twice the price from the shop! It's an interesting way to promote: make something seem limited edition, then make it available to all.

Sprink · 27/11/2014 21:00

I like your thinking, d0ttyne11! I'm putting you on the marketing team with TalcumAndTurnips!

By God, a bit more of this kind of gumption and we could set the whole Cereal World on fire!
