  1. Only post juicy AIBUs. Do not sneak in general chat topics under the guise of "AIBU to ask you about... pushchairs/holiday properties/breastfeeding/insert other dull topic?"
  1. Clearly indicate your aibu topic in the thread title. "AIBU to be annoyed about this?" is not acceptable, as I may click on it and find it dull.
  1. No "posting for extra traffic". This is the MN equivalent of queue-jumping.
  1. No indication of light-heartedness. MNers should be sufficiently intelligent and discerning to understand when the OP is tongue-in-cheek.

Thank you for your co-operation. Smile

  1. All members must look up what "being violated" or "emotional abuse" really means before slinging it around a thread like a 12 year old that just learned to curse.
  1. All members must also learn what pedant and pedantic mean. It does not mean being meticulous about details, having an uncontrollable urge to correct people, and it's certainly not an endearing term.

Addition to the list of juicy topics: ludicrous hygiene and/or housekeeping standards. E.g "AIBU not to wash my towels more than six times a day" or "AIBU to make my family have a bath and change their clothes every time they go to the loo".

And another ban:

Never post "You sound really entitled".
