Stupidly went back to the boyfriend's house this eve, he was obviously pissed. I wasn't. He went bonkers when his house mate came back (he is 36!!!) and shouted at me, and grabbed me by the wrists and literally put me out of the house. Aibu to block his number and never speak to him again?

We were engaged. Been together for three years or so. I moved out because I was sick of his drinking and my dad died. Long story, I am still living with my mum atm. I have a good job with steady income, he doesn't. Haven't seen him properly for the last fortnight, he met me this eve, was rather unsteady on his feet, etc. Then kicked off at me once I got to his flat so I had to get a taxi home... Something tells me I should chuck the engagement ring down the loo!

And £750 is an extremely expensive engagement ring, not a cheap one.
