To think we should go on a Cadbury Chocolate strike - until they put the recipe (and shape) back to how it was

We should go on a Cadburys Chocolate Strike :-)

Or, only buy supermarket own-brand chocolate from now on. (some of which is really good)

That'd teach them to mess about with the ingredients in our Cadburys chocolate. And I don't carewhat they try and fob us off with - the bars are a lot sweeter (different cheape sweetener used?) and they have lost their smoothness.
In other words, Cadburys tastes crap.

Cadbury's dairy milk tastes similar to Hersheys now, the US Brand, which I know well! The chocolate flavour is weaker and much more oily.
The British world beating chocolate has been ruined!
What do we buy now for our children?

I'm in OP!

I buy Sainsbury's own brand chocolate now, and it's lovely, also fair trade, and cheaper than brands.

Zombie!!!

SofaToad · 26/06/2017 13:06

Regardless of this being a Zombie, it is still relevant because Cadbury are still making sugar and palm oil bars instead of chocolate made with milk bars.
I stopped buying it when it changed and have now stopped buying ANYTHING with palm oil in at all, which includes most brands of chocolate, biscuits, bread, sadly Nutella, and many other things. It really is unhealthy for us and for the environment and is wiping out animals like wildfire.
Lindt now contains palm oil, as does Green & Black although that tastes like cardboard anyway and look at who owns it now...
