Me, Labour.

OP posts:
DollyParsnip · 04/11/2014 16:44

Labour. We have a really good set of Labour councillors at local level and our (Labour) MP is very engaged and approachable. I have concerns about the Labour Party itself as I think they should be coming back at PMQs a lot stronger than they are and Miliband is a liability but based on their Local engagement and track record they'll get my vote.

BigbyWolf · 04/11/2014 16:44

Tory. No question.

ginghamcricketbox · 04/11/2014 16:45

Tory all the way our local MP is exellent
one look at the shadow cabinet should be enough to put anyone off voting Labour

SquirrelSwarm · 04/11/2014 16:46

LibDem. I've been really impressed with our local MP and what they've achieved against the odds in Government.

FannyFifer · 04/11/2014 16:46

OOAOAML I condone any such behaviour regardless of party.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/11/2014 16:46

So, although this is a tactical vote, as I don't think the greens have a chance under FPTP.

Will be very entertaining if SNP end up holding the balance of power in a hung Westminster government.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/11/2014 16:47

Bloody autocorrect SNP, not So

TeamScotland · 04/11/2014 16:48

SNP, natch Wink

Territt16 · 04/11/2014 16:49

Tory, but i have a feeling its going to be a Tory/UKIP coalition

TheHandbagOfGlory · 04/11/2014 16:50

SNP for me too, I like the way things are under them for the most part.

OOAOML · 04/11/2014 16:52

I do actually Fanny. Not in everything, but I'm not happy with it.

Viviennemary · 04/11/2014 16:54

Be even more mad if SNP hold the balance of power but can't vote on English only issues. I agree that they shouldn't be allowed to. I don't think it will be a Tory /UKIP coalition. UKIP will probably get a lot of votes but very few seats. Still it's anybody's guess. I don't want a Labour government. That would be terrifying.

TalkToFrank · 04/11/2014 16:55

Labour or LibDem. I'm in a safe LibDem seat (must live near some of the previous posters who have said the same - not many safe liberal democrat seats left now!) I would ideally vote Labour but may vote LibDem as our local MP is excellent.

MajesticWhine · 04/11/2014 16:56

Probably lib-dem. I notice there aren't many of us.

OOAOML · 04/11/2014 16:57

I do think UKIP benefitted from the Euro electoral system, and that there will be a real effort to stop them gaining seats at the General Election. I wonder how many people have made up their minds and will stick to it, and how many will be swayed by the campaigns.

RedPoppyRed · 04/11/2014 16:59

I don't want to vote for any but given the fact that my ability to vote came at a great cost I will be voting Labour.

I would rather shave my head cover it in jam and stick it in a pit of fire ants than vote UKIP.

APlaceInTheWinter · 04/11/2014 17:01

SNP.

Nokidsnoproblem · 04/11/2014 17:03

Both Labour and Tory have defended and hid pedophiles and sex abusers. If you vote for them, then this will continue.

MrSheen · 04/11/2014 17:04

I live in a labour stronghold. As much as I hate Ed's panicking and pandering to the right and total lack of coherent policies, I do like my MP and would be happy to see him re-elected.

I think the Tories have done a right number on us and are still bleating that a bigger boy did it and ran away even though they have spent way more than labour. I also hate that they are lying arseoles and try to bamboozle people by talking about the debt and the deficit as if they are the same thing. I hate the stealth privatisation of the NHS and the sheer wastefulness of their policies. Their latest trick of spending £5m telling people how much of their tax is peanut on 'welfare' without mentioning how much is spent on things like banking subsidies, savings and pensions subsidies or debt interest is manipulation, and we have to pay for the stamps. I also think they are scum for skewing their policies to make sure that the bulk of the burden is carried by the people least able to so so. I should be a Tory voter (private school, own pony, run a business) but I want policies that are good for everyone, not just those who have already 'won'.

BNP/National Front/UKIP - No. Just No. Even if I was a bigot, their policies are insanity.

Green - We've never had a green party candidate before. I broadly like them but I read they are a dodgy on women (prostitution possibly) so I would have to look into them a bit more. They are the only party against tracking afaik.

I would consider the NHA as a protest vote. I would love it if they knocked Cameron or Hunt out but I can't see it happening.

FreudiansSlipper · 04/11/2014 17:04

Labour

though I do not believe we shall win :(

trouble is that Boris is knocking at no.10 come to following election and he is for reasons I can not understand very popular but that is a long time off

MrSheen · 04/11/2014 17:05

tax is peanut -tax is spent Hmm

RyanAirVeteran · 04/11/2014 17:06

Tory

I would not trust Labour to be in charge of my child's piggy bank never mind the country.

BelleJolie · 04/11/2014 17:08

Greens. I agree with a lot of their policies.

I perhaps could have been persuaded to vote Labour but I don't have confidence that they are different enough to the Tories to truly take this country in a fairer direction.

It's a shame people would consider voting for the Greens but won't for fear of wasting their vote Sad

Nokidsnoproblem you realise that isn't just a Tory/Labour issue? The Lib Dems have a lot to answer for with Cyril Smith if people are going down that route.
