It cost me £14 and was gone in 4 sips!

I just wanted a decent drink Sad

Why can't they bloody fill it up? Am I a total savage alco to be disappointed?

Well I emailed the hotel when I got home yesterday and attached a copy of my Trip Advisor review. (Haven't posted it yet)

They have offered me a complimentary stay.

They can't really do much more but why is it that I feel bad for having kicked up a fuss? Hmm

The question is dtc, would you want to go back even if the stay is complimentary?

As for the prosecco, I hope you enjoyed it Wine Smile

You haven't kicked up a fuss. You stated the facts - The hotel was expensive. There was a worm in your food. You went to bed hungry. It was a waste of money as you didn't enjoy your stay.

If the hotel had been advertised as that you wouldn't have gone. The service wasn't acceptable. They should feel bad, not you.

Am in Ireland .

What was that in euro? 18 euro? That's ridiculous . The nicest restaurant in Dublin would hardly charge that for champagne, let alone prosecco!

You haven't kicked up a fuss don't worry. You had a legitimate complaint.

They can do more- they can offer you your money back for the room.

Ask for that, and justify it by saying you can't risk their lax food hygiene as you are pregnant. As they clearly aren't washing the salad then you are high risk of gastroenteritis. Which is awful pregnant. And risky if the gut cramps kick off real contractions. (Speaking from experience from a bagged salad v scary)

Go on, ask for your money back Grin
