Morning all, so today at random times when clicking on threads to read I'm getting redirected to sex and porn sites, is this happening to anyone else? It's not happened on any other websites so far but not sure if it's my phone or the site. I can assure you that it is not my choice if early morning internet browsing!!

Happened to me earlier and in the early hours of Saturday night.

This happened to me about six months ago tech sorted it out after a few days. It was redirecting to Ali's something or other.

Mine seems to have stopped.

Yes there's a thread on site stuff. It's not just porn that people are being redirected to either. And it is not a virus. I was testing a shiny new laptop and getting redirects as well as on my own laptop and pc.

If you go to the thread in Site Stuff there is a post with a link to an article explaining how this particular malware is difficult to pin down as it redirects randomly. So you might be redirected once, then you'll have no problem for the next couple of hours then it'll happen again. Also, it's restricted to mobile platforms only, making it even harder to track and deal with.

Oh heck that's me out of here now. I am on here in my lunchtime and definitely don't want re-directing anywhere like that. Bye

It happened to me at the weekend on my iPhone. I logged out and cleared all my history and cookies and it hasn't happened since.

I just rung my DH having a rant at him for using my phone to watch porn! Oops

Mine is fine, but has happened before on other sites. My husbands cousin is a computer geek and did something to the settings and security to stop it happening have no idea what but it worked
