His "drink dad at a wedding reception" dancing is NOT entertaining. He's so awful he makes Judy Murray look good. I'm completely baffled, who the hell is voting for him?! How long are we going to be lumbered with the useless oaf?

A real shame someone who can dance is about to go. This is exactly what happened to Rachael Riley last year.

It's his radio fans. He ought to tell them to stop, it's not good when it means decent dancers being knocked out.

He is absolutely horrific. I have never seen someone so incapable of dancing.

I think the bottom person in the judges' votes should be in the danceoff no matter what. The public vote should decide the other one.

I noticed Judy was holding back when everyone was hugging Thom - she's bound to be embarrassed, but tbf it's not her fault. Scott is far worse than anyone else though - I suspect I'd be at his level if I was ever on Strictly (which is unlikely as I'm not remotely famous!!!)

It's publicity, there will be puppet masters in the bbc pulling strings to make the show go as they want.

They want the controversy and public upset, it makes people tune in.

I thought that after all the kerfuffle about rigged votes, the TV channels had to play it down the line. So you're saying that they still rig it?

I don't think people realise how popular Scott is. Even my DB, who loathes Strictly or anything like that, said he was going to watch this series when he heard that Scott Mills was doing it because he's such a big fan of him on the radio.

Personally I'd agree that he's absolutely appalling, but he has such a fanbase that I can't see him going anywhere for some time yet.

Not rig it as such but they must know what they're doing in terms of being able to predict their audience and voters well enough to be able to play them a certain amount.

Scott was always going to be in for a few weeks his fan base from radio one alone is massive.
It's like Judy, she will be getting through mainly on the Anton factor, Simon keeps getting in the bottom 2 because Christina isn't very popular.

It's similar every year, there will be 2 popular, good dancers in the bottom 2 and then there will be a sudden change and suddenly the bad dancers will go and and the good ones will fight it out every week.

Oh it gets on my thrupenny bits every year OP - the 'comedy' acts get the votes and decent dancers get sent home way too early. Maybe I'll start walking the streets with a loudhailer shouting 'its a fucking DANCE competition, you idiots!'

I love Scott Mills! I don't vote for him because I don't for anyone on principle!

But surely as part of the bbc family, him talking about Strictly every single day on his show must be good publicity for them. He even has a feature linked to 'innuendo bingo' where they have Strictly people on each week! ;)

I have to say, I really like Scott - but not as a dancer because he's totally useless. When this series of SCD first started I thought he was taking the mick, then I realised he is just truly awful and embarrassed at his own tragic dancing.

I don't vote but if I did it would be Scott because him and Chris Stark are my imaginary best friends!

Yes yes - he's lovely, very sweet. But he CAN'T DANCE! So he needs to go, and Judy needs to follow him, closely followed by Alison. Its just not fair on the people who are improving week by week
