To do everything in my power to track this person down and never let them peacefully sleep again (lighthearted)?

So last night was the first night my (usually Co sleeping) DS went to stay at his GP.

I was nervous but was looking forward to enjoying some time with DP and they don't live too far from us so said they would bring him back if he got really distressed at any point.

I eventually relaxed and the night went on. I enjoyed a lovely evening with takeaway, too much wine and a bed to ourselves (with loads of pillows!)

It gets so late I figure DS must be happy and settled and look forward to my first unbroken nights sleep in forever...until at 4am DPs phone starts loudly ringing. We both leap up panicking. It's a strange foreign number and cuts off. We are both a bit puzzled but concerned it is somehow the GP trying to get in touch when a voicemail comes through and its clearly a pocket dial.

Two minutes of rustling and then BLOODY NONCHALANT WHISTLING! Angry

So at this point I'm wide awake, realise my boobs are huge and leaky so get up to express and haven't been able to get back to sleep.

We googled the number to no avail but it is now my life's mission to find this Whistler and take my revenge, accidents happen but jauntily whistled tunes are unforgivable! Grin

This has just reminded me of when ds1 was a teeny tiny baby just a few weeks old we were very sleep deprived the phone went at about three in the morning dh lept out of bed to answer it and bizarrely the caller was a wrong number and accused him of phoning her dh sleep deprived and confused apologised profusely for doing so !No funny buissness we were both fast asleep next to each other!

I went through a spell of having weekly phone calls from a lady in Pakistan at 1 or 2am. She was actually trying to contact her sister but kept misdialling the number which was very similar to mine. We became quite friendly in the end especially as I'd often be awake feeding DS and she seemed to want to chat (thankfullly in English as my Urdu extends no further than hello and OK).

Then the calls abruptly stopped. Quite miss her really :)

However YANBU - if you track them down you can borrow DS he hasn't let me have a full nights sleep in over 2 years so I'm sure he'll help your cause.

Haha...I will source all non-sleeping mumsnet babies and have them do a midnight scream chorus for The Whistler!
