New font

I haven't been sleeping well but has the font just changed on threads on MN? Or am I imagining things?

It hasn't on mine...

I thought this was going to be about a christening.......

It's still the same on mine - have you accidentally changed a setting in your browser?

And it's a typeface.

A font is how it is delivered.. wood block, hot metal, potato, digital...

Maybe the stylesheet didn't load properly?

As you were its changed back again! On mine it went from an arial/Helvetica to a serif font and now it's changed back again . I am knackered. TFIF.

I thought the font was the size/style of the typeface nomama? Anyway I'm not imagining it and I think it changed when I logged in to post. Oh well what does it matter but am I going crazy?

The mobile site is altogether different, much nicer looking! Sharper, clearer layout, dare I say a bit more modern?! If you access the site through safari, it lands you on the traditional layout, unless you click on "mobile site" at the very bottom. HTH

Before it all became redundant I digitised typefaces. That is I made digital fonts of all the typefaces you use these days. I also designed specialised character sets for a wide variety of typefaces - like Wingdings.

So I am 100% certain that what you are reading is a typeface, delivered via a digital font.

If you think of the typeface as a song and the font as the way you hold it - vinyl, CD, download.
