Maybe it's my (40-something) age and the fact that I've got a bit fatter (was size 10-12 now 12-14), but I've had enough of flimsy pants! Walking around in public pulling your underwear out of your backside is not a good look. Weirdly, the best ones I found were cartoon Wonderwoman ones from Debenhams! They had really sturdy hems that actually stayed in place. But the last time I bought some they'd changed the fabric and now they've gone all stretchy and useless! Waaah! I don't want granny pants (or hi leg); boy shorts are my favourite style. They definitely have to be cotton though. Anyone got any recommendations? I can't be the only one with this problem can I?

Ah, but how high up do the midi pants go up one's waist? I have quite a short torso, but I can't be dealing with pants that cut across my belly.

I recommend Sainsburys high leg knickers (the multi pack ones). They don't ride up me arse or roll down at the front. I buy them in my actual size.

I like Nutmeg (Morrisons) knickers, haven't had problems with them.

Do these high tummy ones not give you a weird pant tummy line, when wearing a dress?

Going commando does appeal to me but... where do you stick your knicker liners?!? I used to wear Sloggi quite a lot, haven't checked them out recently. Have they improved their colour range? I'm really not keen on white, black and tan coloured pants... bright colours are more my style.

wouldn't fancy no knicks thing...I get a few days out of a pair of jeans and wouldn't be able to like this. And wouldn't fancy the seam chafeing my delicate bits
