To ask if anyone knows where to get a flu jab for a baby?

Posting here shamelessly for traffic.

I have been advised by a doctor that there is no medical risk in giving a flu jab to a baby under 1 (mine is 8 months). It is given to babies known to be in high risk groups, eg heart patients.

I want him to have the jab because it is beneficial to everyone but also because we have a family history of atopy.

I cannot even pay for him to have one at the surgery as they don't have enough stocks. Bizarrely, I am allowed a free one as a carer for my daughter, who is high risk.

Chemists will not vacinate children under 16.

Any tips? (I don't want tips like "I don't believe in vaccines" as I am strongly in favour - I mean tips like where to get one!)

Private gp surgery?

I would ask your GP for tips on where to get one. Or perhaps try the children's unit of the hospital?

We got DD done at a private travel clinic. That was a few years ago.

Some good suggestions, thanks.
