To tell DP to sleep on sofa bed

DP says he had bad nights sleep again because of my snoring. I work blinking long hours to pay for my lovely, warm, comfy flat, good food to cook and eat and nice car to drive. He lives week nights with me rent free. I love to snuggle up in bed at night and sleep. My snoring doesn't bother me!!! I told him he can use ear plugs and or sleep on the sofa bed.

YABU. You're conflating two separate issues and, as a result, you risk being a bit passive-aggressive.

If he's a cocklodger, kick him out. If he's not pulling his weight, tell him to shape up or ship out. If he's (through no fault if his own) not able to help out with the rent, it is unfair to kick him out of his bed because you won't seek help for your own problem.

If you like having a sexual partner who sleeps over you should go and see a doctor. YANBU to say he can use earplugs and sleep on the sofa, but YABU if you don't also see what you can do to stop snoring loudly enough to affect someone's sleep.

If you don't really want him sleeping over then YANBU at all. Though you might want to see a doctor anyway, loud snoring can be a sympton of several health issues.
