Hi AIBU to be upset about hardly ever seeing my friends since I have become ill. When I phone to make arrangements to meet one particular friend told me she no longer has time to meet for coffee or a play date,it's ever since I have become unwell and my mobility has become limited, it has made me so upset as I was always there for her to vent her frustrations and slag off other people! Hmm

Don't waste any more headspace on her OP, just let her go. She has made her position clear.

Its quite a shitty thing to do though Brew

Yanbu she wasn't a good friend in the first place. At least now you know who your friends are.

ithoughtofitfirst · 10/10/2014 19:45

She's a loser. She's not cool enough to be your friend anymore.

Vitalstatistix · 10/10/2014 20:01

Not unreasonable at all, but don't waste your energy feeling anything about her. Try to rise above it because the only person affected by it is you and you don't need that crap!

She was never your friend. When you were no longer useful, she cast you aside.

Don't feel upset about her, you've not lost a friend, you've been freed from a user. Rejoyce! Grin

or even Rejoice!

YANBU - it's normal to feel hurt and upset when you find out that a "friend" was only ever a fair-weather friend. I am sorry that you are ill and feeling down and this must make you feel even worse.
