To be annoyed about sexting

Casually drunk texting the guy I was seeing at the weekend.

Texts became sexy.

They then became very dirty

Received a text last night saying that "due to your saying "...." I no longer want to continue our relationship."

First, I had a massive "I can't believe I said that" moment and text appologising (whilst blushing a lot).

Then I re-read the conversation (even more blushing) but he was just as bad and encouraging the conversation.

Although I'm glad he's bailed now rather than leading me on, I'm a bit WTF?

I was a bit at him quoting me (I mean, who does that?!) as I'd totally forgotten about the conversation and did not remember that things had gotten so dirty

At the time, all that I could think to do was to apologise and remind him that I was drunk and hadn't been out in ages (it's been about 6 months)

Littledidsheknow - I think you're right. He was bailing last week with the excuse about not really having time - but I have my own commitments and said we could do it as and when.. then the sexting and now the "not pursuing it any further, thanks"

In hindsight, I am relieved that it's stopped, but just miffed that it wasn't on my terms - and that he quoted me!
