Stop me from throttling DP

I've had a really bad night with one month old DS. We slept from 10.30pm to 1am and then have been awake since (reflux- I have a doctor's appointment for him on Wednesday). DP opened my bedroom door at 9am asked if I was awake, let 3yo DD in and pronounced he was off for a shower...he's been locked in the bathroom since and I've only just heard the shower start. He didn't even bother getting DD any breakfast, not to mention asking if I needed anything (I am stuck breast feeding DS who spits up and screams every time I move him or try to put him down).

Say something to stop me from throttling DP because he is a dead man as soon as I can get my hands on him.

Are the kittens instead of the husband?

Curious to know whether two kittens have helped much?

They are not just kittens, they are miracle kittens! DS let me sleep for five hours last night and two more this afternoon! DP hasn't changed (this would be a miracle too far even for the kittens!) but at least now I have the patience to put up with him!

I know MN doesn't really do photos but surely an exception can be made for miracle kittens.

Honestly the kittens are a pleasure and I also have four horses, two dogs and a stray cat that appears to have adopted us so two more are not such a big deal when you are knee deep in manure anyway!

The mum is Siamese, the dad unknown but they look exactly like mum.

I know this is a bit of a zombie thread by now but I have an update. DH was in bed this morning, looking after newborn DS while I gave DD her bath. The kittens got into the bedroom, one of them made its way under the duvet, between DH's legs and proceeded to play with his testicles while DH had to stay completely still for fear of waking DS. Apparently it was like some kind of Chinese torture. I have unleashed my karmic justice kitten on DH and feel vindicated.
