Quick quick quick, how do I do a screen shot?

Like where you keep an image of a full page - or post on Facebook.

Help!

iPad? Hold down power and camera button.

on a laptop/desktop it's print screen (prnt scrn)

on a Samsung phone it's the button at the bottom and the power button at the same time

On my ipad & iPhone it's press & briefly hold the home key & power button at the same time.

Galaxy s5? Hold down home button (in the middle at the bottom ) and the power button.

On iPhone press the power button and the home button quickly at the same time

You can also swipe the screen on a Samsung to take a screen shot

Lol at everyone and their phones.

I obviously belong in the Jurassic age as I'm on laptop!

PrtSc isn't doing anything.

I've resorted to ye old c&p but I wanted to keep the whole thing, ideally.

On my laptop I press FN and then PRNT SCRN.

Isn't it hold down cntrl and prntscrn and then paste it into Word?

It may sound a stupid question but are you going into a word processing app and pasting having pressed print scrn? That's what I usually do...

Laptop. YY to Fn bottom left mine's in red letters and PrtSc on the top row three in from the number pad. Goes to Drop Box if you have it, or Ctrl and V when you've opened Paint.

if you have Picasa then you open that, then CTRL/PrtSc together and it'll save it in there.

otherwise I think you'll have to paste it somewhere like onetwothree says

When you press print screen are you the going in and pasting on a word doc?

so ctrl/prtsc together, then open wordpad and past it there.

paste....godsake! :o

And more importantly now, what are you being to save so desperately? Spill!

You see that's not fair. You come on here panickingand looking for help, then you don't let any of us know what the gossip is!

I am quite intrigued.

I discovered by accident that when using Chrome on my laptop that I can save whole (for example MN threads) web page I'm looking at by using the print option (on the three line icon at the top right of the browser) and saving it as a PDF instead of printing. (Instead of using the print screen option).

I defaulted my printing options to this to save paper but can still send it to the printer if I need a hard copy.
