Bastard nights. Knackered. Need sleep.

Dogs in kitchen. Don't want to cage them again after being in all night.

Lazy DD1 is having a lie in after working every day for the past 9 Days

BigDog may eat burglers.

What to do?

Is the garden secure? If so, I'd do it. If burglar gets eaten by BigDog then really, burglar only has self to blame.

Is there shelter in the garden for dogs, water, is the garden secure and safe. Not perfect but if yes to all that id be tempted to leave dogs in garden and lock the door. You sleep better knowings it locked. If answer to any if my questions is no rethink it. Sleep well.

I couldn't leave them outside. They might be cold or uncomfortable .

Personally, I wouldn't if I was asleep. That's mostly because I wouldn't be able to relax completely. Depends on the garden tbh.

Will shut in kitchen and risk boredom and table eating.

Leave back door open and sleep on sofa? Well known fact that burglars don't show up if you're not actually in bed.
