To feel the shape of my face has changed after having my two lower wisdom teeth removed

It may be just "normal" sagging and aging. I turned 40 last month and it is not without its angst. I also had my two lower wisdom teeth removed, and I feel I have perceptibly aged, that is, my cheeks seem more hollow, my jawline slacker. My sister tell me I am imagining things. l am positive I can see a kind of hollow in my cheeks, which didn't use to be there, and when i poke at the hollow, it is where the wisdom tooth used to be.
I should stop "Being Julia" and obsessing about my fading looks, I know, but still, am I being delusional? Has anybody else experienced this upon the removal of wisdom teeth?

I seem to remember that Hollywood starlets in the '40's had their wisdom teeth removed so as to define their cheekbones and give them that hollow that you mention (sorry, I realise that doesn't help you in anyway. It's just something that came to mind).

Think about it you might be right. I had mine out a few years ago and I'm sure mines gone the same.

Well, if 40s Hollywood starlets did it, I guess it must be ok then... Actually your comment made me feel vaguely better :) Cake
