to find adults on scooters embarrassing?

I can't help but cringe when I see it - anyone else? maybe people who scooter could help me be less judgemental

This must be a Southern / London thing? I've never seen any adults on scooters in places in the North such as Burnley or Accrington (or any other merry northern towns that I work in).

Selks you are on the wrong side of the Pennines. I wouldn't say it's common in Yorkshire but there are a few scooterers around.

I've never seen an adult using one but think I would probably smile if I did. I've had a crafty scoot on my ds2's scooter through the park on the way to pick him up from kindy.

It's fun.
