Ok, so I bought a deal on one of these group sites. It was for an oven clean. Booked in for 2 weeks ago.

I had a text message the night before asking for me to soak oven shelves over night, which I did.

After DH waiting in all day it was a no show. I messaged stating that it was a no show and that I was disappointed.

I received a call saying there had been an emergency so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked for Monday just gone.

Sunday night I messaged asking if they needed directions and giving all contact numbers. No reply and another no show.

I contacted the company I bought the deal from and
they refuse to refund stating it's been redeemed and the service has been provided.

IABU to expect some honesty from the company rather than them lying and stating that they have provided the oven clean?

Send a photo of your dirty oven to the voucher company?

Threaten them both with trading standards!

Name the company on here. Get on their social media and shame them! Also why on EARTH should you soak the shelves! Might as well clean the thing yourself!

Oh and I'd be all over the voucher company's Facebook telling about it.

It's Wowcher. I have emailed them back, tweeted and am in the process of leaving a review on trust pilot.
