I mean seriously, why would I do that?!?

Just made some coffee, put a load of washing on at the same time as mnetting. I took my tea spoon, reached into the washing powder and put not one but three!! tea spoons of it in my coffee. I don't even take three sugars!!

Stirred it up, came and sat down, took a sip and nearly threw up, before taking another sip!!! Blush

Am I crazy? Why would I do that?!? Envy (< vom face) I don't even have the excuse of lack of sleep or only just waking up!

Did you swallow!!

PrettyPictures92 · 24/09/2014 11:04

Twice! I think my brain went for a wander as after I had finished feeling like I was going to throw up the first time I realised I'd put washing powder in it, stood up to go pour it down the sink and on my way to the kitchen I took another sip, knowing full well what was in it Confused

Oh Lordy! My first thought is, are you pregnant or possibly could be???

I was chatting to a pal on the phone while making a coffee once. Ended up talking to the milk bottle and the phone was in the fridge. She told me to take a hpt (when I got the phone out!) and it was positive.

I went to a wedding a few years ago and stayed with friends the night before. In the general getting ready panic the next day, the best man managed to brush his teeth with hair removal cream.

My aunt made up a plainclothes packet of Polyfilla with milk thinking it was Angel Delight. She actually served it to her kids too. I mean, who doesn't link the whisk??? She was a very distractable woman.

mupperoon · 24/09/2014 12:57

*lick the whisk dammit

Why on earth would ^^ be your first thought? Confused

seasavage · 24/09/2014 13:07

I tend to do that sort of massively distracted thing in early preg, so I might wonder. It's quite common in my family. My aunt once cried when she realised she'd put the apple pie in the freezer and the ice cream in the oven. DH asked me if I was pregnant when he found the cornflakes in the fridge. Got a + 2 days later.

Stupidhead · 24/09/2014 13:08

Arabella, because I would do stupidly random things before I knew I was pregnant!

SistersOfPercy · 24/09/2014 13:54

I've put post in the freezer, put dog food in my cereal dish and weetabix in the dogs bowl (he was happy that morning) and I regularly type 1471 into the burglar alarm.

My mother is the queen of distraction. She bleaches mugs and took her tablets with the half cup of 'water' on the side. A few weeks later she picked up the superglue rather than the lip cream she'd been using and glued the side of her mouth together. Fortunately she realised before she'd smothered it on.

PrettyPictures92 · 24/09/2014 14:00

Grin glad I'm not the only one who does these things

My housemate once decided to descale the kettle. Only she forgot about it after putting the solution in the water. I came along and made myself a lovely hot chocolate shortly after.

It was honestly one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted! Shock
