I am 11 weeks pregnant, but still. It's the second morning I've done it.

I had toast, poached egg and fried mushrooms.... Then chocolate birthday cake. I'm 21 weeks pregnant.

WyrdByrd · 22/09/2014 10:10

Key lime pie & a coffee here.

6 days post surgery - didn't fancy toast & DD had snaffled the last of the apricot wheats Smile .

x2boys · 22/09/2014 10:11

I,m just about to have egg and bacon sandwich ,ham is very similar to bacon so fine for breakfast, although cake/a d crisps also sounds nice as does left over pizza.

gingee · 22/09/2014 10:12

Key lime pie EnvyEnvy I'm so jealous I could cry

I pretended to be oh so continental with a stick of Aldi salami, two baby bells and a cappuccino

I'm hungry again so going to break out the chocolate

LittleBairn · 22/09/2014 10:14

YANBU I'm 10 weeks and I've become strangely obsessive about sandwiches to the point of dreaming about different varieties. Blush

flanjabelle · 22/09/2014 10:15

Not up the duff and had a ham and cucumber sandwich for breakfast. followed by a mars bar.

PiperIsOrange · 22/09/2014 10:15

gingee · 22/09/2014 10:19

My friends dd has half a pint of milk and a cheese ham and pickle toastie for breakfast nearly every day, my toast eating dds think its bonkers and hilarious

OnlyLovers · 22/09/2014 10:23

No, YANBU! Have what you want, pregnant or not.

My favourite kind of breakfast is the kind you get in European hotel buffets: cold meats, cheeses, bread, butter, hard-boiled eggs, fruit salad, pastries, tons of coffee.

God, I only had breakfast about an hour ago but I could SO demolish a hotel buffet breakfast! Grin

WorraLiberty · 22/09/2014 10:43

I have fond memories of being on holiday with friends as a teen. We used to eat a fry up from the hotel buffet, and then snaffle the ham rolls to eat on the beach at lunch time Grin

I'm surprised we didn't get food poisoning considering the heat.

Labrat72 · 22/09/2014 10:43

I'd love a big ham sandwich, plenty of mustard. Sadly, DH used the last of the bread for his morning toast & I feel too rough to go & get more.

PeppermintInfusion · 22/09/2014 10:46

I often have toast with a slice of ham on top, which is pretty much the sane thing!

Momagain1 · 22/09/2014 10:51

Nothing is ever a wrong choice for breakfast.

Ok, booze and cigarettes are a very poor choice, but anything involving actual food is fine. Ham sandwich, bacon sandwich, what's the difference?

NickAngel · 22/09/2014 11:04

Thai Green Curry for me this morning.

rallytog1 · 22/09/2014 11:06

As long as it was naice ham.

mrsm16 · 22/09/2014 11:10

Im 6 weeks pregnant and I just went to the shops to get fresh white bread and brown sauce for a ham and brown sauce sandwich for lunch/midmorning snack, came home without the brown sauce Sad Sad
damn you baby brain! The malteasers and crisps I picked up instead will have to do.

Clarabell33 · 22/09/2014 11:27

I'm 12wks and threw up my 'healthy, normal' breakfast (cranberry wheats, one of the few breakfasty things I was still enjoying, dammit) but have just had cheese rolls with prosciutto which have stayed down (so far). Frankly anything that will stay down goes! The other morning (ok, 2am) I was eating Marmite with a spoon. Nom.

wildfig · 22/09/2014 11:29

I had a pitta bread filled with sliced apple. It was delicious. and two cappuccinos from my nespresso machine

AbbieHoffmansAfro · 22/09/2014 11:54

Not pregnant, but lately I've been enjoying wholemeal toast with peanut butter and sliced banana. Better yet, the kids think it's odd so they don't steal any, which they do with practically every other breakfast I make.

ItWasMyOwnSilence · 22/09/2014 11:56

I had leftover chicken bhuna, sag aloo and papadoms, twas excellent Grin.

FrothyDragon · 22/09/2014 12:00

Bacon and cheese wrap for me this morning... (Not pregnant either)

Was left over pizza the other morning. Grin

ouryve · 22/09/2014 12:02

It's a perfectly good breakfast. Better for you than coco pops, that's for sure.

Ruhrpott · 22/09/2014 12:02

That's what most Germans eat everyday for breakfast. Completely normal here.

LineRunner · 22/09/2014 12:05

Ham and tomato sandwich. It was my lunch, really, but I ate it early.
