To think that a Yes vote means that England and Wales will be condemned to Tory Rule forever more..?

Am starting to feel a bit worried as Scotland seems much more left wing than England. So if they vote Yes, are the rest of us going to be forced to live under Tory ( or a Tory/UKIP Government) forever more..?

If so, I'm bloody moving to Scotland!

On electoral reform the problem was we were offered the possibility of AV (alternative vote) which is not very democratic at all. We need STV (single transferable vote) in place of first past the post system.

I actually voted in favour of AV (even though I'm not keen on it) because I didn't want to close down any future discussion of electoral reform. First past the post is bloody undemocratic, although does have the advantage of stable governments.

Ghould AV was what the Labour party wanted so I guess their view held more sway than your's!

When almost 2/3rds of the country didn't even turn up to vote - I guess we got the system we deserve!

AV was a sop to the LibDems to keep them sweet in the coalition. They didn't even really want it.
