AIBU to think it basic courtesy to let your neighbour you are going to be drilling on the adjoining wall all day?

They have been banging since 7am, banging, throwing things out of windows etc. Not sure what they are doing but my baby son has a cold and we are knackered!

A little warning so I could have camped out somewhere else would have been nice.

Yes it would have been nice, YANBU. Are they approachable? Could you mention when you see them that you'd prefer they let you know next time so you can go out for the day?

I once had to ring my neighbour at 10:45 to ask him if he wouldn't mind stopping drilling, as I'd just gone to bed with a headache. He did have the grace to apologise as he hadn't reasoned the time, the eejit.

*realised the time. Bloody preview isn't working at the moment.
