Today alone I have had to endure a disturbing video of apparent war footage which played itself as I scrolled down, a photo of a poo that someone's pet did, a tediously detailed description of someone's workout and someone I used to work with had apparently just gone to bed with a headache. Why am I reading this shite!! No more!!!!

You just need to delete the people that post that kind of crap.

londonrach · 15/09/2014 07:12

Just delete the person or dont read it. Fb is a useful tool to keep in touch with family abroad.

LadyLuck10 · 15/09/2014 07:12

You need to edit your friends list. Fb isn't a bad place at all. I love it, but then it's down to the type of people who you have on there.

Delphiniumsblue · 15/09/2014 07:14

Nothing to do with FB- be more discerning about your friends.

StillaChocoholic · 15/09/2014 07:18

I had someone post something I didn't like. I deleted them.

Found out during the ice Bucket Challenge you can stop videos auto playing. Also you can hide posts by certain organisations like Britain First.

Nusalembongan · 15/09/2014 07:33

I hate that stuff plays now whether you want it to or not Confused

Degustibusnonestdisputandem · 15/09/2014 07:34

Definitely edit your friends list (& as others said, you can always hide/ignore posts). My feed is full of lovely nerdy geeky things from my friends and family Smile

PassTheCremeEggs · 15/09/2014 07:48

You can change whether videos play automatically or not in your settings.
Agreed - just filter your friends better!
