To feel robbed

Today would have been my DH's 55th birthday but he died in 2011. Today I just feel such rage. I thought I had come to terms with the awful truth but today I feel so angry! It is so hard.

Sorry to hear of your sadness I have no words. I can only imagine the pain and anger. You obviously had found the love of your life and for that you are blessed. I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what I'm talking about really except I would have thought anger is healthy and it's best not to keep it bottled up. Have you friends/family you can offload to? Don't be alone

YANBU. I'm sorry he isn't here to celebrate his birthday with you. Do you have people around you who knew him and can remember him with you?

I'm sorry. No you're not BU to feel robbed. That's not very old at all.

My mum was 54 when she died. I was 30 and hadn't started a family yet. I felt a bit robbed too.

Today is the second anniversary of DMil's death. She was the one nanny my children did get to know and love and she was taken too.

Life is a robbing bastard sometimes.

It's horrible and I'm very sorry that your DH isn't with you. It's no age at all to be dying. I'm not sure the moments of shock and anger ever completely leave but they do get further apart over time. Not that that's any real help for you today It's shit.

YANBU OP, I'm so sorry for your loss.

My father died at 56 and that was 45 years ago and I still feel cheated. He had so much more to give and would have adored his DGC. Love to you OP
