Just had another 'blast from the past' pop up on Facebook, all 'hello, how are you, fancy meeting up?' Definite flirty undertones.

I can't remember if I ever actually shagged him, is that bad of me? But he is about the third this year...

More importantly do you fancy shagging him? Grin

AgentZigzag · 13/09/2014 00:37

It's your irresistible charm SGB Wink

They're powerless in the face of it.

caramelwaffle · 13/09/2014 00:46

Oh SGB.

They are always "newly single" (ahem - whether other half, female or male, knows it).

A friend and I have had the same 'message' as it were from the same man.
There's more, but it comes down to chancing their arm..... tis' funny. I've always loved your 'sex pet' analogy so sometimes....perhaps (not this particular man however...)

caramelwaffle · 13/09/2014 00:52

Or: What they both said....

Custardo · 13/09/2014 00:57

If he looks shaggable shag him

SolidGoldBrass · 13/09/2014 16:07

This one always had immense charm... He turned up at a birthday party of mine once and half the other guests were clutching each other and reeling ('Young Alan Bateman thing going on, was what someone said). DOn't know if he's still got it, though.

As to my irresistible charm, erm, probably not. I am nearly 50 with a face like a welder's bench and chronic flatulence.

AgentZigzag · 13/09/2014 21:49

Don't be doing yourself down!

50's the new 30, so I'm told.

It's a compliment that you've got the full set of admirers.

What is it that's making you think twice?

Did you flirt back? (keeping your hand in until you decide?)

I've just realised what's missing from the thread.

Where are all the facebook haterz? Confused

SolidGoldBrass · 13/09/2014 22:28

Well, I got on to my mate in the town where he lives, and arranged to go to the event she organises there (he had seen on FB that I 'work' there and I explained that it was an occasional event I help out at). So if he messages me again I will say, going to be at [event] drop by if you're not doing anything else. And see what happens.

As to us both being older, ISTR he was quite a bit older than me so will have his free bus pass by now.

I expect he will show up, be flirty and then vanish again. Having searched my memory a bit harder, that seems to be what he always used to do, so will enjoy the flirt and then move on.

Time of year. Last chance at mating before hibernation. They're at their worst in the spring though.

WitchWay · 13/09/2014 22:51

The first bloke I slept with popped up on FB tonight - he had a hairy purple knob & was crap at using it - even as a newly-deflowered maiden I could tell he was shit in bed Grin

WitchWay · 13/09/2014 22:54

& what is it with being nearly 50 & the chronic flatulence? Cauliflower & cabbage are really dangerous vegetables these days & I just daren't eat dupiaza Grin

Oneandonlyone · 13/09/2014 23:10

Wait for New Year's. Mine come out on New Year's Eve like clockwork. Thankfully we are now at a point where DH and I have turned it into a drinking game.

Do not acknowledge unless you want some action. I promise, if you ever do want some, at least one of them will be happy to oblige you, chronic flatulence or not.

SpaceInvaders · 13/09/2014 23:30

How can you not know if you ever shagged him or not?! Confused

WitchWay · 13/09/2014 23:35

Drunk at the time? Just a blow job? Too many to remember accurately? Wink

7Days · 13/09/2014 23:42

Grin ChelsyHandy

AgentZigzag · 13/09/2014 23:44

YY Witch, OP's approaching 50, you can forget all kinds of drunken shit once you've hit 40, especially if you put your mind to it Grin

SolidGoldBrass · 14/09/2014 10:00

If I ever did actually shag him, it would have been about 25 years ago and I have shagged quite a lot of people and nearly shagged quite a few more. I have a feeling we were both sort of up for it and never quite got round to it - but I know it would be rather rude to ask him.

I feel a bit sad that none of my old paramours ever contact me on Facebook. Although to be fair most of them were gross or live on foreign parts or just wouldn't remember my name...
