To feel a bit of sadness to see looks gradually fading

Just that really, I wonder if we all take it for granted when we have young fresh faces. I can remember when looking in the mirror first thing in the morning before putting makeup on wasn't an unpleasant sight. Now it's a bit of a scary sight. Also it gets longer to get ready now to look half decent. Isn't it a bit sad to see the face that was once young and glowing slowly start to fade. Sad

I was a looker in my youth but hated the attention it brought. I'm in my 60s now and like the way I have aged. Its brought me more confidence and I feel I am now taken more seriously.

My mum (66) had an argument with Boots as they didn’t believe she was old enough to qualify for the free flu jab. She looks great and can pull off much younger fashion. No one would believe she’s in her 60s.

I think I’ve inherited my dad’s genes sadly, I look like his mother!

Feel like this already and I’m only 31!

I don’t look too bad for my age until I put my glasses on! Smile
