I have just eaten a bag of walkers Ranch Raccoon crisps Hmm don't ask me why!
TBH they were a bit bland to begin with, but eeww, I've cleaned my teeth and can still taste the buggers, They taste abit like a fousty scrotum not that I've tried any scrotum, fousty or otherwise The taste will not leave me!
They were in a multi pack with hot dog and beans on toast flavours,
Pass me the salt and vinegar Grin

I've tried all the new flavours (in the name of research, you understand Grin ) and I have to agree that the raccoon flavour are absolutely rank!
My 7 year old liked them though.
I've even registered my vote on the walkers website for my favourite - I'm loving the chicken curry flavour!
Although the steak fajita one comes a close second.

is absolutely rank. Not are. Gah. (Need an edit button!)

My DS thinks the raccoon ones are the best. But he does have odd tastes so.....

jezzapaxmanslovechild · 11/09/2014 00:12

Am shuddering at the thought of it - am a cheese and onion woman myself but will stretch to salt and vinegar if in a bread roll...

itsbetterthanabox · 11/09/2014 00:29

Oh I used to love the ketchup flavoured ones! Are they doing them again?

Bulbasaur · 11/09/2014 02:08

Are they really made out of raccoons? Confused

GarlicSeptimus · 11/09/2014 02:27

Yes, Bulba. Very thinly sliced, then cut into rounds and flash-fried in badger fat.

GarlicSeptimus · 11/09/2014 02:31

How old is DS, Reversing? At 17yo, I would have said I liked raccoon crisps the same as I said I liked Phal curries. Anything to seem different, no matter the cost to my tongue!

butterfliesinmytummy · 11/09/2014 02:39

Ew, not even Texas has raccoon crisps (although we have real raccoons here). We do have new flavours of mango salsa, wasabi and ginger, macaroni cheese and bacon and .... Cappuccino. Bleurgh. Can't bring myself to try any of them...

Bulbasaur · 11/09/2014 02:41

Ok, I looked up the ingredients. Wink I don't put anything past British food, when you guys have Haggis over there.

lettertoherms · 11/09/2014 02:46

Anyway. That sounds weird.

The wasabi ginger crisps are fantastic though, I even went so far as to "vote" for them to be a permanent flavor. Refuse to try any of the others.

Bulbasaur · 11/09/2014 02:47

Ew, not even Texas has raccoon crisps (although we have real raccoons here).

That's because America knows not to eat scavenger animals that eat garbage as their main meal. You're not allowed to sell raccoon or any type of vermin meat because it isn't regulated, and they are responsible for the majority of rabies cases. Even rednecks rarely eat raccoon, they just hunt them for sport.

Garlic my DS is 9 so not a weirdy teen Grin

I'll have to get some for my 13 yo to see what he thinks.
