To think society looks down on women with visible arm tattoos

I always keep my arms covered and people are really shocked if they catch me in a t shirt which is very very rare. I've had 'I never thought you'd have tattoos!' And 'that's a shock'
I wonder of they see me differently once they see them. I'm sure they do.
I actually hate all of them. I was young and silly. Nothing I can do now except keep covered.

For everyone saying they're awful, or ugly, doesn't it depend on the tattoo? I have tattoos on my arms (not a sleeve but only because it wouldn't suit me), and generally I like tattoos, however I have seen some absolutely awful ones that make the person "wearing" them look like an idiot.

I work in a creative profession and have never been criticised or looked down on for my tattoos.

Sour, those people will never admit it depends on the tattoo, they hate them all. At least they're equal ops in their not-liking

I like sleeves on men and women. I work in education and so I keep my tattoos in secret places as like it or not I think visible tattoos will hinder my career. :-(

I think the trouble with a tattoo is that you have to get an amazing design and an amazing artist to execute them otherwise the effect is very common.
