So I've been seeing a new guy for a couple of weeks. He stayed over at the weekend and during the night I was finding it very hard to sleep as he was snoring and wheezing and talking in his sleep. So I went to sleep in another room. He was a bit annoyed about it and said he almost went home but didn't. So he stayed on the Sunday but the same thing happened again. I was lying in bed wide awake in the middle of the night listening to him snore and eventually went to sleep in another room. I got up this morning and he had left without saying goodbye. I know he didn't have to get up early for work and he hasn't texted me since. I think his behaviour is quite childish and passive aggressive but was what I did rude...?

Need some advice as don't know how to play this now...

Tell him you will bag it/ biz it up and pop it on the doorstep so he can collect at his convenience??

wafflingworrier · 10/09/2014 21:05

whatever you do, do not get back together with him.
urgh
agree with posts about bag option but dont ask him what time is best, say theyre in a bag outside your door and leave it at that. otherwise he'll be able to piss you about sorting out a time and try to talk to you or "forget" etc.
ruuuun run awway!

....maybe put an anti-snoring device in the bag too?! they cont about a tenner in boots :D

As the DW of a snorer YANBU. The bane of my life. Gives me the rage most nights. He sounds like an absolute knob.

Frontier, I sort of see what you mean about two weeks in being when you shouldn't be too precious about getting your full eight hours sleep! but I think that's supposed to be because you are awake having wild sex, not listening to the roar of distant wildebeest.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 11/09/2014 06:55

Yes. Ignore.
I can see why he might feel miffed about you leaving the bed. I can see why you did so, but Its embarrassing for him.
He does, however, seem to be a bit huffy. Which is not good. And the "shut up" thing is a bad sign.
I agree with bogeyface

"Yes, you left you shit here.
I binned the whole lot for you, dear.
But I sleep where I choose.
'Cause I left you to snooze
You stropped off. Don't come back. Clear?"
