It feels like I have a water infection starting, really painful on left side of abdomen. Before when I've had a water infection the only thing to get rid was antibiotics.

Drink plenty of water and give your GP a call in the morning. Not much else you can do tonight. Hope you feel better soon.

Painkillers and a hot water bottle.

Hope you get well soon, I am a night owl so always awake this time.

Do you have uti often, if so get your GP to check for diabetes

You poor thing, they are awful. I second curled up with a hot water bottle to the abdomen, lots and LOTS of water (cranberry, blueberry or pineapple too, if you have any to hand), and something nice to read if, like me, you need to visit the loo often, and it is a painful experience. Helps to take the mind off it.

I've also used a spoonful of baking soda disolved in a glass of water a few times. It's supposed to help neutralise the acidity.
