To ask for tips and help with abstract reasoning?

Does anyone have any tips, help, links or anything else that's vaguely useful to help with abstract reasoning? Sometimes I can see a pattern, but other times it just looks completely random Blush

My uncle is an abstract reasoner, tbh I think you just let whoever it is get on with it, smile and nod and try not to get drawn into a debate.

I think this is what your post is about? Sorry if I got it wrong

Oh and whatever you do, don't correct an abstract reasoner. It causes much frustration (to you) and falling out

Oh sorry, I mean abstract reasoning in the sense of being given two sets of patterns and then being asked whether a third pattern fits set A, set B or neither.
