To do a quick poll - what is the best time for a joint 1st & 3rd birthday party

0ur eldest can still happily nap from 1.30-4pm and youngest roughly between 2-3pm and a short morning nap.

To be honest though I know the three year probably won't care that much about a nap on party day but I would prefer him to not be a grumpy mess.

Anyway DH thinks best time would be 12-2pm but I'm worried it might put people off as they will think its their kids nap time. I think 3-5pm may be nicer for other people but then DS might be a grumpy just woken up mess.

I know this is really a decision I should be able to make myself - but quick poll.

Or would 11.30-1.30 be a good idea then we can do morning games & lunch party food.

I'm massively over thinking this aren't I.

11-1 is good for that age group IMO.

I have the same decision to make for a joint party for my 2 the same ages! We're doing either 10 - 12 or 2 - 4 as that way need less food, and won't it the arsenic hour.

In terms of naps, if I do the afternoon one I'l just take the kids for a massive drive that morning or something to make sure they'll sleep then

I would go for morning, by 3 kids are gonna be knackered and parents will be wanting to have tea and wind down ready for bed around 5 ime
