Saw a thread on here and someone mentioned maryoke. It's my cousins wedding so I told her about it and suggested she do one to the black eyed peas song where is the love. She told me I was a chav and daft. There is no way she is going to do it. We're like sisters. We were bought up practically together.
She said if the majority of people post she will do it.
Pllllleeeeaaaassssseeee agree with me!
Even if we do a different song.
It's my gift to her.
Thanks Grin

But surely there are better songs?

Love & marriage - Sinatra
Teenage kicks - katie perry
You make me feel like - Dylan Scott
The sign - ace of base
Wish I could write a love song - chas & Dave

Or le piece de resistance - Jimmy Buffett and his amazing rendition of "why don't we get drunk and screw"

On the other hand, black eyes peas works as well.... (Unhelpful....)

ramrod757 · 04/09/2014 20:37

YABU it's horribly chavvy!

Waltermittythesequel · 04/09/2014 20:39

What is it?

gordyslovesheep · 04/09/2014 20:42

she's right

CSIJanner · 04/09/2014 20:42

Walter is a karaoke video specially for the bride and groom, usually compiled on the wedding day with guests and bridal party mining the song.

What about something a bit classier like "I touch myself" by The Divinyls. Complete with hand gestures natch.

Waltermittythesequel · 04/09/2014 20:49

Thanks CSI

Sunna · 04/09/2014 20:51

She's right. It's "chav and daft".

MammaTJ · 04/09/2014 20:54

YANBU! DO IT! Grin

rainbowinmyroom · 04/09/2014 20:55

That's one of the corniest things I have ever heard.

Sister77 · 04/09/2014 20:57

"Where is the love?" and then a pic of them two would flash up with the word HERE.
Or
"Where is the love?" And them on the day with various groups of guests pointing saying here or signs saying here with foam hands.

Sister77 · 04/09/2014 20:57

Yeah but it's so cheesy it would be great

Do it!!

gincamparidryvermouth · 04/09/2014 21:04

No.

Sister77 · 04/09/2014 21:05

I've offered to pay for it.
She's having a choc fountain and a photobooth

OP posts:
Sister77 · 04/09/2014 21:06

Sorry I'm losing the plot with grammar. When I got married there were no such options. I've told her I'm reliving my marriage planning via her wedding.
I'll tell her you said she's a bridezilla.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 04/09/2014 21:08

She has to do it. It might be tacky chav etc but it's funny!

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 04/09/2014 21:14

I'm on team Marryoke all the way. The Grease megamix is my favourite so far on youtube.

PrettyLittleMitty · 04/09/2014 21:26

Do it! Do it! Do it!
So cheesey it's brilliant!

ScarlettlovesRhett · 04/09/2014 21:30

Yes, yes yes!

I'm so jel - I love this sort of tacky thing.

(I genuinely do, I think it's something you look back on and smile).

Please convince her!

IMurderedStampyLongnose · 04/09/2014 21:45
