People who say "Oh you must be so lucky living so close to your family!"

The only real response to that is "Yes I know!" Because saying "Why? So I can live 5 minutes away from people who do fuck all as opposed to 2 hours away from people who do fuck all?"

/bitter

Anyone else get people saying things that are a bit innocuous but mean you have to bite your tongue?

When I was depressed, the question "How are you?" was the worst, because the only answer I wanted to give was "So miserable I want to die". But of course, I was always "Fine"

I think I need chocolate today!!!!!!!

The "You've lost weight" thing is especially irritating. I have an acquaintance who tells me I've lost weight every time she sees me.
Thing is, I have, I lost 5 stone. But that was about 6 years ago. Confused

The most irritating is it'd be nice to be seen as a slim person, rather than an ex-fat person.

The look of shock and then disdain when people come round without warning me first.

I want to say I spent 2 hours cleaning this morning then the kids got home dropped their book bags shoes and coats on the floor had a food fight, played football, didn;'t take their plates out for their many snacks and I just don't have time to clean and reclean and reclean well you get the point.

Oh and yes, I cleaned all the surfaces in the entire house today and yesterday and theday before~! They mess them all up! I have replaced the sofa the lights, the floors the table the computer the tv the beds etc and they always just get broken again.

It makes me want to scream because not only do I clean more than I have ever cleaned in my entire life, but the house is messier. Yes I did choose to have that many kids. So yes, I should probably suck it up. Doesn't stop me wanting to scream though.
