to spray big white blobs of ant powder on all the piles of dog poo in the park?

So the kids can see them and avoid stepping in them? I could do a quick recce on the way to school pick up and highlight the poo?

It's the first day of term and on the way home I saw lots of poo in the park Angry. None of us want to be scraping poo off of new shoes at the end of the day. We (me and the other parents) usually end up putting big sticks over the poo so the kids don't step in it, but ant powder might be brighter?

Would I get done by the council for squirting ant powder around the park? I will e-mail them too but I've tried several times in the past and nothing gets done about it.

yes I'm meant to be writing an essay and not faffing about on here

It's been done before with luminous paint spray

Personally, I would be teaching my kids to look out for it and to be careful not to step in it. They have to learn eventually because it's a problem that sadly doesn't go away.

Link here about spray paint

ooo, I need some biodegradable spray paint.

We're constantly telling the kids to avoid the poo, but they're tearing around like maniacs and playing football so not really paying 100% attention to where they step.

It's disgusting isn't it?

I'm a dog owner and would never dream of not picking up after him

ALessThanGlitteringCareer · 04/09/2014 10:43

Please don't put anything poisonous on it. Other animals (including dogs) can eat dog poo and you might poison them.

Meglet · 04/09/2014 10:51

good point.

Flour? That wouldn't poison anything would it, might make it a bit dry!

worra it baffles me how many owners just get away with it. Lots of them do pick up though.

Horrific.

Our local council have sent letters about our last open space saying that if it keeps getting covered in poo they will put a fence up round it so everyone loses it then.

Keep on at the council? Maybe there's something they can do like an on patrol dog warden who poo picks lol?

dog owner too

We had a fox go crazy in the last couple of days, the walk to school was horrific!

It was clear a few days ago....
