Bought DS a new sim card, arrived yesterday (old phone sat in a puddle for two days while camping
). Tested it, was fine.
Today he was supposed to text at a certain time, he didn't. Was a bit cross as the deal with him being 'independant' is him answering his phone/texting at certain times.
He gets home. The geniuses at Vodafone have cancelled his sim due to 'irregular' activity? They've text a number for him to call, which he can't because his phone won't connect to a network.
I've now been on hold for over 10 minutes. The 'fraud line' isn't a fraud line, it's an answering machine. I've been sitting here while someone tells me over and over again that they're busy.
Of course they're busy. Cancelling brand new sims due to irregular activity and making people phone up to sort it makes extra work, doesn't it?
Common sense?
