Then she should pay the buy it now price and not try to haggle? Sorry this has ticked me off because she was rather rude when I declined her offer.

nothing wrong with her trying to haggle. Nothing wrong with you saying no though.

Rude isn't on though

Well SINBU to make you an offer but since you're within your rights to decline SIBU to get arsey.

I had the opposite problem once - an item was buy it now or best offer (price over £100). They declined my offer and said best we can do is £2.50 off. Why bother?!

DDDDDORA · 27/08/2014 17:20

I've never had someone haggle before it put me on the back foot a little, she offered less than half of the asking price. I politely declined (despite wanting to tell her where to get off) and she came back to me saying that I was an ungrateful *** & I should be grateful that someone is offering to take it off my hands as its used.
Yes it's used but it's in great condition.

Block her, now.

She's more trouble than she's worth!

WendyBloomers · 27/08/2014 19:00

I really would block her, you can just tell that she's the type that even if she does pay the price you want will find problems so she can have money off and whatnot.

Definitely not worth the headache!

DDDDDORA · 27/08/2014 19:38

Thanks for the advice, I have blocked her.
It never occurred to me that she could cause trouble and I don't want someone like that turning up at my door (it is a collection only item).
Thanks again
