I like your plates/bowls! Where did they come from?

Softlysoftlycatchymonkey · 24/08/2014 19:16

Iam I haven't a clue, nothing matches in this house! There is no stamp underneath either Sad

I would be genuinely furious at that because I can't eat something that anyone has poked, prodded, breathed over or looked at funny Grin

I'd be forced to yell at him until he went out and bought me a replacement or three

Fairylea · 24/08/2014 19:21

Shit in his coffee. The bastard.

iklboo · 24/08/2014 19:33

Evil. When I was young my mum used to ask for or just take a bite out of my sandwich. But she'd take it right out of the middle (I'm a corner to corner girl). I could never face eating my sandwich after that. Then I'd get into trouble for wasting food Sad

BoneyBackJefferson · 24/08/2014 19:40

"I'd be forced to yell at him until he went out and bought me a replacement" Shock

Softlysoftlycatchymonkey · 24/08/2014 19:47

vital I did take the shine of my lemony piece of heaven. He was lookng at me with a right stupid grin. He actually thought it was funny and I would laugh..... What a knob.

iklboo my nan used to have really long, tobacco stained nails. I hated chippy night as she would always pinch a chip of my plate and she would fumble for it her horrible yellow nails would touch my other chips

I've got those plates cheap from Argos circa 2005

And yes, ltb

MerryMarigold · 24/08/2014 19:53

I think it's funny! In fact it's inspired me don't think dh would be amused. Some people need a sense of humour transplant.

Hollycomputer · 24/08/2014 19:57

Argh. My mum used to take a tiny bit out of all our sandwiches. It used to infuriate us but she thought it was funny.

Hollycomputer · 24/08/2014 19:58

bite

HouseAtreides · 24/08/2014 20:02

DH used to think nothing of having a bite/forkful of the DCs' food before giving them the plate. I had to point out to him that it's not very nice; he was just being greedy! He doesn't do it any more.

Yes boney. I am terrifying. He would rush to tesco for fear of sleeping in the shed.

Itsfab · 24/08/2014 20:34

I hope his finger was clean
