I'm seeing a huge banner across every page and the O2 one is the least intrusive. The bloody sauerkraut one is ridiculous. Posts aren't highlighted. I have to scroll for ages to move down the page as everything is unnecessarily huge. I know everyone moans when an interface changes but this is just clumsy.

Feels distinctly lowbrow.

Grr.

Bloody awful. I've had to change my tablet to desktop mode as it was a pain in the backside. Grr.

I've put it in desktop which is ok, obviously not optimal for mobile but still want my old mobile version back! Really don't like being advertised to so aggressively either.

Setting it to desk top site is no good though because it makes the writing tiny.

The ads I'm getting aren't any different to the ones I had before, seems I'm alone in that though. Just one at the top and one at the bottom. Been like that for a good while now.

Its horrible. Switched back to desktop mode but that just makes browser crash every time. So now I'm stuck with this shitty mobile mode.

FFS. If it aint broke dont fix it!

Please don't tell me this is staying like it! I can't read it properly and absolutely hate it. I assumed they were doing work on the live site and it will eventually look better. If it stays like this then I'll probably stop looking on mumsnet. I normally check it several times a day but I just can't read anything properly on here!!!!

I hate it too. Mine crashes when I change to desktop mode so guess im stuck with the new shitty layout.

I've posted on the main thread but it has become so big that it's unusable on this ridiculous new mobile site.

I've just spent ten mins trying to get onto one of the threads about the redesign to ask this:

Can someone please tell me whether I can switch onto the desktop version, and if so how? (on a mobile)

stands scroll to the bottom of the page and there should be a link to "Desktop Site"
I hate using desktop on my phone but I can't bear the new mobile layout Sad

No bookmark either. Switched to desktop site. I can't imagine who thought this change was a bright idea.

Bits of it I like, i think the layout is cleaner, but there are little bugs that annoy me. I am rather hoping that they are keeping an eye on feedback and will tweak some of the little things soon.

My main gripe at the moment is that when I go to threads I'm on and click on one of the threads it takes me to the start of the thread rather then the end. I'm on the thread, I've already read the start and don't need to read it again!

Also the link to take you back to the top by each post isn't obvious which is a bit annoying. In fact that whole sub menu from the little dots is rather tricky to see as they ate so blooming small.

It sucks donkeys' balls.

The blue shit at the botom covers the whole page when I scroll and scroll and scroll and fucking scroll and the ad banner at the top disappears when i scroll... but the flashes back on when i.take my finger off - only to cover half of the top post. I cannot see more than one-one/half posts at a time.

I only use mn on my mobile, but honestly I'll just start pissing around on wikipedia or the onion or OMFG go back on facebook [omfg face emoticon]

Or... go read a book instead! Such a shame as i like this place

In a week we will not notice the difference. Used italics to experiment with how much easier Ot is. What does Bike mean?

Yy to the threads I'm on issue.

You used to be able to see the last 5or so posts so you could tell if it was worth catching up or not. Now it's rubbish as you can't tell and get sent back to the beginning. Plus it's harder to delineate between posts or something. Too much white space maybe?

grr.

Also the new mumsnet M looks like mothercare logo
