At first I thought noooooo, but I googled Andy, then Fatima Whitbread and the resemblance is uncanny. They look like twins.

Absolutely! We noticed this last year when they were showing the "autumn song" all the time. DS2 (12 at the time) was absolutely convinced Andy was actually Fatima Whitbread in a woolly hat .

Just to add - DD (3) was watching CBeebies. Not 12 year old DS2.

I had never clapped eyes on her until she went into the jungle a few years back and I thought it was Andy :o

My mum thought he WAS Fatima Whitbread (quite why she would have a job doing links on CBeebies I don't know).

My dad is totally astonished that they aren't related. And they aren't - poor Andy confirmed this in an interview. Seems he's a bit fed up of talking about it.
