Shower time is my time !!!

I have two - DS 3 and DD 6 and love them dearly, etc etc. But the one place that I can escape is in the shower.

When DH is out, I have to leave the door open in case of an emergency or something. But they always always disturb those few moments of peace!!

I know on the one hand that I shld be available and theres' nothing to hide and its' safer, but AIBU to want 5 minute's privacy and when, what age and how do I draw the line.?!?

Shower when they are in bed.
Shower when Dh is at home and refer them to him, every time. Eventually they should leave you alone.

I feel you're pain, Classybird. My DS or DD (or DH) always need an urgent poo when I am in the shower. Sometimes I think I'd have more privacy with the hosepipe at the bottom of the garden LOL.
