Saying that, at least the mum is present. So many now where you don't see the parents and the older siblings seem to do most of the childcare rather than have their own childhood.

Why haven't the Pontipine children been taken into care? They are forever running away from their parents and getting lost, and I think it is not at all a good thing that the whole family sleeps in the one room.

Also for one village that apparently only has about 10 residents as you never see any of the others there are four firefighers, two fire engines, two rescue boats with a full time coastguard (the lovely Ben that all the women fancy), a full mountain rescue complete with helicopter and full time member of staff.
