To beat this guy about the head?

On a packed train and the guy directly in front of me is snorting, snotting, coughing and making all number of vile phelgm-y noises....

I can't move but think there isn't a court in the land that would convict me if I just battered him until he stops! He isn't taking notice of people recoiling or me almost retching and is just doing this continuously.

No sign of an actual cold by the way!

So, am I being irrational or would this be a perfectly reasonable defence if he ended up a little unconscious.

Yuck!

Presumably he can't help it though...

Poor chaps probably got hay fever! Take solace in the fact however bad it is for you, its worse for him!

HeySoulSister · 09/08/2014 20:45

Can you imagine if a man posted that about a woman?
Beating people about the head.... Or wanting to... Says more about you than him!

BirdhouseInYourSoul · 09/08/2014 20:45

Offer him a tissue?

My friends DH is a bit like this but doesn't even realise he's doing it.

supersop60 · 09/08/2014 20:45

Vile. My friend has to endure this with her 90 yr old father - he is completely oblivious to the effect it is having on people around him. Sympathy for your horrid train journey. Are you able to offer him a tissue or something?

BoomCakesNation · 09/08/2014 20:48

Doubt it's hay fever. He is now having a charming conversation about some 'dirty bird that gives you chlamydia just by looking at you'....I didn't think people actually spoke like that whilst being serious!
Seems to have a rather dubious attitude judging by the rest of the conversation.
Sigh....every time I'm on a train!

Oh and I should have put lighthearted in the title -I'm not actually advocating violence here, just those noises give me the rage!
